　　i remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when i helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. i thought about them on the plane returning to california from the midwestern town where my sisters family lives. i thought about all the things that she hadnt seen or heard or done. i thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special.

　　im still thinking about his words, and theyve changed the weeds in the garden. im spending more time with my family and friends and letime in committee meetings. whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savour, not endure. im trying to recognize these moment now and cherish them.

　　im not saving anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special. event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom… i wear my good blazer to the market if i feel like it. my theory is if i look prosperous, i can shell out $28. 49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing. im not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my party going friends.

　　someday and one of these days are losing their grip on my vocabulary. if its worth seeing or hearing or doing, i want to see and hear and do it now. im not sure what my sister wouldve done had she know that she wouldnt be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted.

　　i think she would have called family members and a few close friends. she might have called a few former friends to apologize, and mend fences for past squabbles. i like to think she would have gone out for a chinese dinner, her favorite food. im guessing. ill never know.

　　its those little things left undone that would make me angry if i knew that my hours were limited. angry because i put off seeing good friends whom i was going to get in touch with someday. angry because i hadnt written certain letters that i intended to write one of these days. angry and sorry that i didnt tell my husband and daughter often enough how much i truly love them.

　　im trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. and every morning when i open my eyes, i tell myself that every day, every minute, every breath truly, is... a gift from god.

　　In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.

　　After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.

　　Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.

　　Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. 　　I'm Lai Senhan from the University of International Business & Economics. Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date. I'm so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all. The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?

　　First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago. At the end of August, 20xx, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends hel* * **rewell Party for me. They said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in Beijing, and then in 20xx, we shall go to visit you during the Olympic Games. I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!

　　Time flied and 2 years passed. Now I am a graduate. My teachers and classmates always ask me: what's your plan after your graduation? Go back home, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? And I always answer: I will stay in Beijing. I make this decision not because of my promise to my friends 2 years ago, but because: I've fallen in love with Beijing! 　　There are still so many things we can do! For example, for me, I am a graduate majoring Business English. Justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face, and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive. He taught us English by telling stories, playing games, singing songs, and even dancing. I could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class, we went to some other classes to sing songs for them, just like what people do in the states on Christmas Eve. It was so interesting and unforgettable. Justin was an excellent teacher, because he taught us not only how to study English well, but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives. I know there was friendship and pure love in our hearts. Facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. Justin is the best friend I have ever had, and I know I will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

　　Friendship is a kind of treasure in our lives. It is actually like a bottle of wine, the longer it is kept, the sweeter it will be. It is also like a cup of tea. When we are thirsty, it will be our best choice, but when we have enough time to enjoy ourselves, it is also the most fragrant drink.

　　However, in this fast-developing modern society, the reality is not that. More and more people forget to enjoy the beauty of life and -the beauty of friendship. 　　首先，一名好老师应该拥有渊博的知识,更重要的是将课讲活﹑讲精、讲好。一名语文老师，应该诗词历史，写作阅读，无所不通，无所不知。一名数学老师，应该将奥数几何，各种运算，运用自如。一名英语老师，应该说一口纯正英语，与外国人轻松交谈。现在的许多老师讲课都有些枯燥古板，甚至学生会因为老师的严厉呆板而失去了一个孩子应有的活泼与想象力，也变得呆板起来，或失去学习的兴趣。那么，一个好老师就应该和学生之间拉近距离，平易近人，成为学生的良师益友：在课堂上激情澎湃、充满感情﹑身临其境地

　　给学生讲课：激动时手舞足蹈,感动时泪流满面；好笑时忍俊不禁,感慨时长篇大论；和学生一起在课文的浪起浪落中随波遨游,品味课文的苦辣酸甜,感受文章的真谛与乐趣将课讲活﹑讲精、讲好；尽量和学生互动学习，让学生带有感情地上课，身临其境地去学习，在学中玩，玩中学；当学生对上课产生兴趣时，往往能产生事半功倍的效果。而这，就是一个好老师应该做到的第一点。

　　现在，不少教师经常体罚或破口大骂一些犯错误及成绩不太好的同学。看到身边发生的一个个典型事例，我十分痛心，并坚决反对这种做法。我认为，真正的教育不是对学生体罚或破口大骂，这是一种能深深刺痛孩童们的'心的做法。遭受了这样“待遇”的同学们，不仅会心情愈来愈低落，对学习的兴趣也会越来越低……这种状况发展到最后，就会对这些莘莘学子们---甚至是祖国的未来---产生不良的影响。所以，我认为，一个好老师在学生成绩不好或犯错的时候，应该亲切地去鼓励他，指出他的错误在哪，接着，以足够的耐心，帮助他改正错误---而不是以体罚或破口大骂的方式。长此以来，学生不仅提高了自信心，还提高了成绩---真是一举两得啊！

　　看看有遇到外国人想搭讪的？都遇到什么情况?没有朋友之间你推我，我推你，最后谁都没有去成，2、有没有自己心里鼓起巨大勇气，激动了老半天，心脏都快蹦出来了，结果老外从你身边走了。3、有木有默默地飘过的生活中有许许多多这样的情况，特别是在张家界这样的旅游城市，每天都会遇到老外，每天不知道有多少这样子联系英语口语的机会，但永远飘过我们的身边。所以面对大家说的没有语言环境或者是练习没有好拍档，我个人认为第一点也是最重要的一点抓住你身边的每一可以练习的机会。人生不是没有机会，而是机遇来到你的身边的时候，你没有准备好。

　　今天，我们的整个新闪亮团队给大家带来一次这种学习的英语口语的机会，不仅人我们报一大堆的`英语证书，为了和还可以和老外自由的沟通。让我看看向过四六级又想学好英语口语的人有多少。我就结合自身的经历，练习英语口语我一路的旅行一路的练习。1、抓住每一个沟通外语的机会，我自己呢就是搭讪老外，只要是外国人就不会放过机会，……………………（尼泊尔，荷兰）2、积极运用肢体语言…………3、找美国人或者年轻人 4、学会用自己已有的词汇表达（迪拜，阿拉伯塔酒店，又称迪拜帆船酒店）5学会猜（美国，湘雅医院）听了那么多事情你们就一定觉得我的英语很好，如果用中国应试教育的标准来说，我确实比较 low，我高中三年就高考英语及格而且是那种擦边球那种的，每次一做题目我都觉得正确答案有问题，题目明明是说我学到了什么，我学到了A正确答案确是告诉我学到了B。学到了什么不是学生说了算吗？反倒老师成我们肚子肥虫知道了。

　　对于英语口语一路的旅行一路的练习，旅行过程中处处有各种各样和老外搭讪学英语的机会。人生旅途的机遇也是如此，你和各种各样的机遇擦肩而过，有时候或许算不上机会但你却创造了机会。有时候特显眼的机会摆在你面前你却不知道。今天我们新闪亮就带了这么一个让大家不仅向前一个同学一样可以拿到四六级高分，而且可以在人生的旅途中面对外国人想说就说。加入新闪亮就是个机会，
